Details: This rare Mercedes W124 4Matic estate is one of very few imported into the UK, of which barely a handful survives in such good order. F675 RJB was first registered to Mr FJ ‘Barney’ Wilson, who is a disabled yet enthusiastic driver. He had many years of “wonderful motoring” with her till 2007, since when the car has been out of use. The present owner has brought her back to first class, roadworthy condition with much help from Mercedes specialist Nick Froome at W124 Cars. According to him, this example “may be the only 4Matic in the UK that is truly working correctly, and that’s not a statement made lightly”. The car drives beautifully and should be good for another 25-50 years of effortless motoring. A complete history file comes with the car, also an MOT valid till December 2012.
